In the Winter of 2022 I joined the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife in surveying for endangered Columbia Basin Pygmy Rabbits.
- Searched for signs of endangered Pygmy Rabbits including tracks, scat and burrows
- Instructed and helped volunteers with following scientific protocols and collecting data
- Managed, summarized, and reported wildlife data using computer software
- Safely captured, handled and tagged Pygmy Rabbits
- Rode snowmobiles, snowshoed and traversed to remote locations
